Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Lightly grease a loaf pan and set aside.
In a skillet, over medium-high heat, whisk the butter and loose chai tea leaves until the butter is melted and nutty brown. This should take about 5 minutes. Remove from heat.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, ginger, baking powder and baking soda.
Add the browned butter mixture, eggs and vanilla bean paste. Whisk to combine.
Transfer the dough to the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
In a small bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Sprinkle over the top of the bread dough.
Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool completely before slicing.
