Meet Marcy
Welcome to Community Kitchen!
My kitchen is the center of my universe, literally. It is the space in my life where my family and friends gravitate. In short, it’s my very happy place. I love to eat. I love to cook. I love to drink. I love to entertain and host. The idea behind Community Kitchen? To share what I love with you.
I learned to cook out of necessity when my husband and I moved from New York City to London in 2001. The food delivery options in London were virtually non-existent. So, I dusted off my two cookbooks and signed up for a few cooking classes at Books for Cooks in Notting Hill. The rest is recent history.
I fancy myself an imperfect chef. I’ve had some hits and loads of misses. I have the privilege of knowing many talented friends (and family) who share my passion for food, cooking and entertaining. I’ve learned so much from them along the way. My mantra - keep it fresh and simple, buy local whenever possible, and it’s bound to be delicious.
Thank you so much for joining me on my journey!
Cheers!
